Rotaract leaders and aspiring visionaries are gearing up for an enriching, life-changing experience at the Rotaract Leadership Academy 2.0 (RLA), a premier rotaract training SEARIC MDIO event hosted by Rotaract District 2982. This three-day leadership training will be held at the scenic Selvamathi Farm Resorts in Salem, Tamil Nadu, promising not just learning but also a deep cultural immersion in the rich traditions of the state.

The Rotaract Leadership Academy 2.0 is designed for aspiring Rotaractors who wish to hone their skills and rise to leadership positions within their clubs or districts. Only a select 50 participants from across South Asia will have the unique opportunity to attend, making it an exclusive event for those passionate about personal and organizational growth. With a maximum of five participants per district, attendees will be carefully selected based on their applications and recommendations from district leaders.
Training Highlights and Leadership Development
Over the course of three days, participants will engage in intensive training sessions that cover a wide range of leadership topics aimed at fostering both professional and personal growth. Some of the key sessions include:
Strategy & its Beauty: Participants will learn to develop and implement effective organizational strategies.
Fundraising Techniques: Creative fundraising ideas and techniques will be shared to support the success of local Rotaract clubs.
Rotary.org Essentials: Attendees will explore Rotary International's website and learn how to navigate its vast resources effectively.
Empathy Gym: Leaders will be trained in empathy to connect with their stakeholders, fostering value-based organizational cultures.
Know Your Rotary: A deep dive into the world of Rotaract and Rotary, focusing on the organization’s mission, history, and the impact it creates.
Leadership Beyond Titles & Inspire: Understanding leadership beyond formal roles and creating a lasting impression as a team leader.
Participants will also learn to balance their responsibilities across career, academics, and Rotaract with sessions like The Real Balance and develop skills to handle unconventional circumstances through scenario-based learning. Sessions on networking, avenues of service, and using AI for organizational growth further complement the comprehensive agenda.

Beyond the rigorous training, attendees will enjoy cultural experiences, networking, and camaraderie-building activities that bring together Rotaractors from different backgrounds. The program includes two nights and three days of 4-star farm resort accommodation, with delicious food and the beauty of Salem’s countryside providing the perfect backdrop. Applications are open to current and upcoming Rotaract club leaders and members who have a passion for growth and service. After reviewing applications and consulting with district leaders, only the most dedicated individuals will be selected to attend.
