What is the difference between Interact, Rotaract and Rotary?SERVE. LEARN. EVOLVE. That’s what all of these 3 foundations i.e. Interact, Rotaract and Rotary aim to help individuals with. Each of these bodies are interrelated to each other and give us a platform to serve the society, gain leadership skills, network with people and groom ourselves but let’s look at the fundamental differences between the 3 of them! Interact: Bring people who belong to the age group of 12-18 and have a common passion to serve the society and fuel their personal growth, there you will find your Interact club! Rotaract Club and a Rotary Club can join hands together and co-sponsor an Interact Club. This can include a community based club and even an institution based club within your vicinity. All you need is a group of young minds with the zeal to learn and serve because, “Young minds are easy to mould but hard to change when the time comes!” Rotaract: You have recently started out your college or your job. Now you are looking for a space to get a break from your routine, then let us tell you that Rotaract is the apt platform for you! Any individual who belongs to the age group of 18-30 can be a part of Rotaract. You can be a part of Rotaract either through a community based club or even an institution based club depending on whether you are a student or a working professional. Rotaract Clubs are sponsored by a parent Rotary Club but they can conduct their initiatives independently. From fellowship to professional development, community service to building networks internationally, you can be a part of the larger community by choosing to be a member of Rotaract! Rotary: Want to be a part of multiple causes and wish to expand your network for your professional growth as well? Rotary is the best fit for you! People who are of the age 30 and above can be a part of a Rotary Club within your vicinity. Rotary Clubs can sponsor both Interact and Rotaract clubs, at the same time work towards community service and other initiatives whilst building your circle! *Note: Tenure for each of these bodies is 1 year. This starts from 1st July to 30th June of the following year.
